It was in 2007 that we began our search for a wine estate.

Our project: to change our lives and make wine.

The project was ambitious because we had no viticultural skills, but the desire to learn was so strong that we overcame the obstacles and settled in Mas Mortiès in February 2008.

In this exceptional location, organic farming was an obvious choice for us, first for the people, but also for the soil, for biodiversity... The conversion began in spring 2008 and certification was obtained in 2011.

Alongside this viticultural learning, we trained in wine tasting and found that the wines we liked best came from biodynamic farming.

It was Blandine and Pierre from Mas Foulaquier who introduced us to biodynamic viticulture, where we work in collaboration with nature, where the vineyard becomes a place of great diversity, where animals find their place within the farm...

Converting the Mortiès vineyard to biodynamics was our big project.

Today, the challenges are many, the road is winding and sometimes steep, but our unwavering and serene will is to give ourselves the means to achieve it every day. What is important is never to stop asking ourselves how to do better. And to do it our way, continuing to follow our own path.

Mortiès is a family business. In 2017, our eldest son Benoît chose to come and work at the Estate. It is a deep joy to see him train in this profession. We feel that he loves this place, the vines and our wines.

This adventure cannot be written and continued without the men who produce, harvest, and vinify, putting all their knowledge and experience at the service of the grape.
